Udyam Registration

Udyam Registration is a government certification provided along with a recognition certificate and a unique identification number to certify micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

It replaced Udyog Aadhaar effective from July 1, 2020, and is issued by the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India. The registration provides businesses with a 16-digit Unique Identification Number (UID) to officially recognize them as MSMEs.

In simple terms, what was earlier known as Udyog Aadhaar Registration is now referred to as Udyam Registration.

Process of Udyam Registration

Any person who intends to establish a micro, small or medium enterprise may file online udyam registration in the Udyam Registration portal.A permanent registration number will be given after registration. After completion of the process of registration, a certificate will be issued online. This certificate will have a dynamic QR Code from which the web page on our Portal and details about the enterprise can be accessed. There will be no need for renewal of Registration. Registration Process is fully online, paperless and based on self-declaration and totally free ,no cost to be paid to anyone. No requirement to upload documents, papers, certificates or proof. Only Aadhaar Number will be enough for registration. No enterprise shall file more than one Udyam Registration.
